Descripción del Tour:

After picking you up from the hotel (exclusive to private service) or meeting at our designated point (for group service), we will embark on this Lima culinary journey in the bohemian neighborhood of Barranco, starting with a scenic walking tour around Plaza San Francisco.

Our culinary exploration continues with a taste of exquisite Peruvian coffee, followed by sampling two varieties of traditional empanadas. The first is filled with “ají de gallina,” a creamy Peruvian dish crafted with yellow pepper and chicken. The second features a spicy pepper filling with a distinctive fiery flavor.

This gastronomic walking tour will then take us to a specialty food store offering 100% Peruvian products, sourced from small, sustainable, and environmentally conscious businesses. Here, we’ll also indulge in a favorite treat: chocolate. Experience the rich and high-quality flavors of these remarkable handcrafted local products.

Our journey leads us next to a small art gallery showcasing the incredible works of Peruvian artist Jade Rivera. Situated in the heart of Barranco, we’ll enjoy a panoramic walking tour to the Bridge of Sighs. This charming wooden bridge, originally constructed in 1876 and subsequently rebuilt several times, carries a legend that wishes made while crossing it with bated breath will come true.

The next stop is a local restaurant where we will savor the popular Peruvian dish “Ceviche,” featuring fresh raw fish marinated in lemon juice. We’ll also try “Causa Limeña,” a traditional dish made with mashed potatoes, filled with avocado and tuna. Refresh yourself with a sweet, non-alcoholic drink called Chicha Morada, crafted from purple corn.

The culinary tour in Lima continues at another restaurant, where we’ll enjoy “Lomo Saltado,” a dish of sautéed beef tenderloin with onions and tomatoes, served with rice and French fries. Don’t miss out on tasting a refreshing national soda, Inka Kola.

Later, we’ll stop by one of the city’s most iconic bars to sample a classic Peruvian cocktail, the “Pisco Sour,” made with Pisco brandy, lime juice, egg white, and sugar syrup.

No tour is complete without dessert, so we’ll conclude our adventure at a local ice cream shop, tasting creamy artisan ice cream featuring authentic Peruvian flavors.

Finally, we’ll return to the hotel (exclusive to private service).
