Descripción del Tour
The guide will greet you at the specified meeting point to commence the Palomino Islands Sea Lion Swimming Tour.
Our journey begins with a sail to the Palomino Islands, situated off the coast of the Constitutional Province of Callao. En route, we will pause at the anchorage of yachts, warships, and merchant vessels. This archipelago is comprised of four small islets located 6 miles west of the port city of Callao, along the western coast of San Lorenzo Island.
We will also pass by San Lorenzo Island, which spans eight kilometers and is the largest island in Peru.
Next, we will proceed to the Palomino Islands, two islands that form a unique ecosystem, home to a remarkable array of marine mammals such as sea lions, alongside local and migratory birds. This small cluster of islands just off Lima's coast provides visitors with an incredible view of the rich sea life along Peru’s coastline.
Peru’s marine biodiversity includes sea lions, penguins, exotic birds, and occasionally, even dolphins. Be sure to have your camera ready!
With the absence of predators, you can swim with sea lions and penguins up close and in perfect harmony. This is a truly special experience, highly recommended for everyone!
Finally, we will begin our return journey among the islets, passing by Peru’s second-largest Humboldt penguin colony, while enjoying a snack served on board. After disembarking, you will return to the meeting point.
